The current research staff of engineers have combined experience of over 105 years in multiple refractory industries.  They are dedicated to developing the newest and most advanced technologies for our customers.  Product recommendations are established based on each customer’s specific application requirements and needs.  

The research and development technicians work closely with the engineers in multiple areas of product development and are dedicated in following strict testing procedures.

Our Team

The Research and Development group is diversified with dedicated labs for batching, casting, firing, and characterization. Firing capabilities extend up to 3000°F and shapes up to three feet square. Additional capabilities are also leveraged through collaboration with the quality control department and precast shapes department.
